Shary Bartlett is a Canadian artist living in Vancouver, Canada. Her award-winning encaustic and mixed media paintings and sculptures are held in public and private collections internationally. She teaches art workshops globally and has been a long-time fine arts instructor at Capilano University, Langara College and Red Deer College. Shary teaches as part of the internationally acclaimed online encaustic Masterclass, Painting with Fire, featuring 26 of the world’s top encaustic instructors. 

Shary's work has been included in juried exhibitions in the US, Canada, and Europe. Her encaustic mixed media art and techniques are highlighted in the books, Encaustic Art in the 21st Century, and Encaustic Revelation. Her personally-curated encaustic wax pigment sets created with Enkaustikos Paints are sold internationally.

Nominated for the International Encaustic Artist’s La Vendeenne Award for Education, Shary has been recognized for teaching excellence. She offers a variety of inspiring in-person and online instructional classes.
