- Pamela Smith-Hudson is teaching "WAX and INK" a multi-media class exploring printmaking and encaustic techniques. The class will be on May 18th from 10am-3pm at Catalyst. - Enkaustikos' Kathryn Bevier will be giving an encaustic demonstration at Woodruff's Art Center on May 30th from 2:30-4pm. The demonstration is $5 in advance, $10 at the door (if space permits!). - Ashley Nigbor Gordon will be hosting a one-day workshop "Luminous Layers: The Art of Painting with Beeswax" on July 20th at UW Madison's School of the Arts at Rhinelander. Charlie Ciali will be giving a five day workshop at the historic Ellwanger Estate in Rochester, NY from August 19-23! "Encaustic Immersion" is open to beginners and more experienced painters.
