Hot Cake Encaustic Paint Refills

Hot Cake Refills serve a variety of purposes. First and foremost, they fit perfectly into the Hot Cakes tin as they come in 1 fl oz (29ml) discs. You can reuse your tin over and over by just buying refills of your favorite colors. Refills can also be helpful for those artists who like to use the discs outside of the tin. By holding the disc in your hand and warming it on the hot palette as needed, you can control how much paint is being used. Another use is for those artists who like to work on larger projects and need more of paint to do so. With refills on hand, artists have the option to melt more than one disc in a larger container. Teachers and instructors will also find these refills very handy since they are perfect for dispensing in a classroom setting.
